Succeed in Life – with Trust!

Succeed in Life – with Trust!

People often ask themselves how to generate trust in one’s life. Trust is an important factor in life.

First, let us define the word ‘Trust’. To trust means, to have unconditional confidence. To trust means to have positive, unrestricted faith. Expressions come to mind, like: ‘denying yourself’, ‘devoting yourself’, or ‘completely discarding any and all doubts’. Genuine trust goes along with meekness.

Trust does not mean, on the other hand, to keep a backdoor open – through reasoning having an alternative as option. We would only pretend to trust, but have another option on hand in case it does not work out – trusting only so far, only to a certain point. That! does not work.

I would not be surprised if many now would frown upon this. However, the fact of this description remains valid.

We live in a World of Distrust.

This world is fraught with distrust. Serious doubts about anything is disseminated by the media – continually. The pervasively negative message of the media is the frailty and corruption of human institutions in all levels of society, that may include the leadership of long established corporations and businesses, banking systems, religious institutions, so-called role models in sports and film, etc. At work, distrust is widespread for various reasons.

Distrust seemed to have overtaken trust. It seems, it is indeed reasonable to not trust anything or anybody rather having trust. Distrust seems to be the choice, rather than trusting and being harmed when going through life.

Distrust harms our Soul and Body.

Distrust causes stress. Distrust is fear. Distrust changes our perception in decision making. Distrust leads to depression, sleeplessness and physical weakness. In his book: ‘The Healing Codes’, Dr. Alex Loyd describes distrust (Stress) as having major effects on the body to both men and women, where primarily breast- and abdomen ailments are the consequence.

The deciding question is:

How do I get out of this ‘Distrust Trap’?

Most people think of themselves as ‘a man (or woman) of reason’. They think of themselves as unique, because they are skeptics and doubt everything and actually have always had doubts about this or that. Great!

It is nothing special to predict failure in a world full of distrust, doubts and negativity.

We can find many passages in the Bible that mention the condition of trust. If we would replace the word ‘faith’ with ‘trust’, we would find many more. The well know passage: ‘Faith moves mountains’ could also be called: ‘trust moves mountains’. Distrust, doubts and fear produce, at the same time, insurmountable mountains (Obstacles)! Jesus asked, before he healed somebody: “Do you believe?”; which means: “Do you trust me?”. Only then went Jesus ahead healing the person with the comment: “Your faith (trust) has healed you!”

Trust creates a Sphere of Possibilities – even One of Miracles

Succeed in life with trust. The fastest way to discard distrust is simply to trust. It does not take more than that. It may help to understand that, originally, reason cooperated with trust. As a child, we just trusted. Reason was not connected with distrust.

Imagine what changes we could achieve by living with more trust, and our reason would cooperate with trust, instead of being overwhelmed by distrust, doubts and fear?

When a person uses reason with trust, distrust will more and more disappear. We will recognize that most fears are only imagined and only dramatized by the media, and that we never were really affected by that personally.

Also, we will have to learn to analyze our own up-bringing by our parents. The fears of our parents were often connected with their times and conditions which are many times currently inadequate and outdated. However, our parents have yet instilled these fears and negative experiences in us – with success.

Much could be added to that. We must, however, understand that our reason works together with our distrust. This is the main cause of our negative feelings and thought structure.

Would our reason be connected with trust, many things would turn out to be more and more positive. We would feel happier, and we would accomplish tasks with a lot less stress. We would succeed in life with trust!

In Daoismus, there exists following principle: There is no change without trust! Successful people use their reason in combination with trust, and this way they increase their sphere of possibilities and then experience a much larger range of action, which in turn gives as consequence more satisfaction and creativity. We believe in our actions. We rather see the possibilities – and not the impossible. This is only achievable when we connect our trust with reason.

A little, effective Exercise

Trust should never be based on some specific cause. True trust does not need a real cause. When we trust a person, because we had positive experiences with her, then that is not trust but experience.

Trust is a natural law that does not need understanding. Trust, when properly applied, is immediately effective.

Trust several times a day, if only for a few seconds.

Use this exercise regularly. Just trust! Generally. Do not restrict the feeling of trust in certain areas in your life – apply it in your everyday life. Create daily an unfounded feeling of trust. After only several weeks, you will experience how your feelings and areas in your life have changed into a much better condition. This is a task you should practice daily. Trust creates more happiness, harmony and success!

Your suggestions and comments are always very welcome. Please share.
